D. Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy) is a short-term diploma course designed for students who want to pursue a career in pharmacy. It’s a 2-year program, followed by a 3-month internship/training in a hospital or pharmacy.

  3. Pharmacognosy

  4. Biochemistry & Clinical Pathology

  5. Human Anatomy & Physiology

  6. Health Education & Community Pharmacy

2nd Year Subjects:

  1. Pharmaceutics–II

  2. Pharmaceutical Chemistry–II

  3. Pharmacology & Toxicology

  4. Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence

  5. Drug Store & Business Management

  6. Hospital & Clinical Pharmacy

Practical Training (Internship):

Duration: 3 months

Usually done in:

Hospital pharmacies

Medical stores

Drug manufacturing companies

You can:

Register as a pharmacist (with PCI registration).

Work in retail or hospital pharmacies.

Pursue B. Pharma (lateral entry into 2nd year).

Go into pharmaceutical marketing, QA, or manufacturing.

Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.

Minimum 50% marks (varies slightly by state/college).
